February: R-Rated Rom-Coms

January 30, 2025

February is almost here, and we have a great lineup of shows coming your way. During the month of Valentine’s Day, we’re digging into some of the saucier romantic comedies of recent years with the theme R-RATED ROM-COMS. There have been a handful of good ones, and even though the argument could be made that it’s more of a friendship movie than a rom-com, we’re kicking things off with Bridesmaids on Monday. It’ll make for a fun and spirited discussion. Then it’s on to the new Amazon film You’re Cordially Invited with Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. Next up is Dinner In America, an indie sweetheart from 2020, and then we round out the month with She’s Out of My League, one of my (Steven) favorites. It’s going to be a really fun month that’s a long way away from the action-packed machismo of Gerard Butler January, so be sure to tune in! And let us know what your favorite R-rated rom-com is in the comments below.

Here is the full schedule for February:

2/3: Bridesmaids (2011, directed by Paul Feig)
2/10: You’re Cordially Invited (2025, Nicholas Stoller)
2/17: She’s Out of My League (2010, Jim Field Smith)
2/24: Dinner In America (2020, Adam Rehmeier)
